Artist Statement
Atsushi Adachi is an artist who creates artworks with the theme of “recording memories”.
I believe that the things that exist in this world are engraved with its time, history and the people’s memories. By materializing the memory based on materials and data, I memorize the memory that one cannot physically see as a “record.”
In recent years, he has released not only paper but also various materials and expression methods that express “recording memory”.
He has also participated in many exhibitions at museums and galleries in Japan, Taiwan, China, the United States, etc.
Performs a wide range of exhibition activities such as holding a solo exhibition in NY.
